Diligent Safety Consulting is offering a free and confidential review of WHS Officer due diligence compliance. 

In the last six months, NT WorkSafe have charged five seperate company directors for failing to exercise due diligence. WHS Legislation requires an officer of a business to exercise due diligence to ensure that the business is complying with WHS legislative requirements.

Tips for completing the questionnaire:

  • An officer is basically defined as a person who has financial and decision-making capability across most of the business. Examples include Directors, CEO’s, and General Managers

  • Diligent Safety Consulting has designed a questionnaire that makes it easy to understand what WHS due diligent is and prompts answers to demonstrate compliance. We will assess compliance based on information provided in the questionnaire and provide a brief report summarising compliance and if needed recommendations

  • This verification process should be seen as an opportunity for learning and refocusing

  • Answers to questions should be honest and accurate, all information will be kept confidential and “No” answers are expected and should not be seen as a negative
